Cot and high chair for babies

We should be able to arrange this provided you ask when booking. We provide a cot and mattress but you will need to bring your own bedding.

Ski & boot rental

Skiset is on the ground floor of our building in Prince Des Cimes. There is an internal door to the reception, so you do not even have to go outside. We advise you to book online in advance for the best deals.

Ski & boot locker

The ski lockers are on the same level as Reception, down the corridor behind you as you stand at the desk. There is a combination padlock on the ski locker, but if your equipment is valuable you may choose to bring your own since the combination doesn’t change often during the season. Ski boots are not to be worn inside the building, and definitely not in the apartment.

Swimming Pool

Ours is the building with the best pools. You can walk there in your bath robe. Down one floor and along the corridor. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool, though you now need to use the side doors to walk between the two. Sadly the connecting link in the picture has now been closed.

Owners from other buildings are allowed to use the pool. Indeed, you should be able to use pools in other buildings too if you wish.

Recycling and rubbish

When you collect your key cards from reception you can ask for a recycling bag.
The recycling bin room is on your right as you come out of the lift.
You can see the bin store directly in front of you when turning left out of the lift.

Checking out (by 10:00am)

Please just leave all bedding and towels. There is no need to take anything off the beds.
But as noted in the contract, “The kitchen area shall be handed over in a clean condition including washing-up all kitchen equipment and emptying the bin and dishwasher.”
Then return the key cards to the reception desk.

On arrival, please check immediately that the safe has been left open by the previous guest. If it is closed, please contact NV3 using the details on the accommodation voucher, so that they can request the guest’s code to open it.

Key Cards

Present your accommodation voucher at the reception desk in Prince Des Cimes. They will give you hotel-style plastic cards which are the keys to the apartment. They also give you access to the ski locker room and the swimming pool area; you should get one for each member of your group.

Présentez votre bon d’hébergement à la réception à Prince Des Cimes. Ils vous donneront des cartes en plastique de style hôtel qui sont les clés de l’appartement. Ils vous donnent également accès au local à skis et à la piscine ; vous devriez en obtenir un pour chaque membre de votre groupe.

Ski Lockers

Turn left in the locker room and follow along the row to find the same number as our apartment. For unknown historical reasons, some of the numbering is a bit random! You will be given the padlock code which changes regularly. Never leave the padlock open with the code numbers showing. Some “joker” has been going round changing the combination number on open locks, and then locking them! Skis are left in the locker at your own risk. If you are concerned perhaps you could bring your own padlock to use during your stay.
On departure please leave it closed and locked.

Tournez à gauche dans le vestiaire et suivez la rangée pour trouver le même numéro que notre appartement. Pour des raisons historiques inconnues, certaines numérotations sont un peu aléatoires ! Vous recevrez le code du cadenas qui change régulièrement. Ne laissez jamais le cadenas ouvert avec les chiffres du code visibles. Un « joker » a changé la combinaison des cadenas ouverts, puis les a verrouillés ! Les skis sont laissés dans le casier à vos propres risques. Si vous êtes inquiet, vous pouvez peut-être apporter votre propre cadenas à utiliser pendant votre séjour.
Au départ, veuillez le laisser fermé et verrouillé.

Internet

We have our own WiFi Internet provided by Orange. At the end of 2023 the Prince des Cimes building was also provided with a separate service by Neptune.
You will be provided with SSID and passcode details for both.
We would appreciate your feedback on any comparison between the two services. If the Neptune service is good (or even better) then we may cancel our Orange contract!

Nous disposons de notre propre Internet fourni par Orange. Fin 2023, l’immeuble Prince des Cimes a également été doté d’un service séparé par Neptune.

There is a wall-mounted hairdryer in the Master Bedroom

There is a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine

The coffee machine takes Nespresso’s latest Vertuo domed capsules and NOT the small conical capsules. The coffee is great, but if you want to use it, you’ll probably be better to take some capsules with you because I don’t think they sell them in Arc1950 (yet).

There is also a traditional filter coffee machine

The filter coffee machine is also available, using paper filters.

There is a microwave above the oven
